Nicholas Vardy has a unique background that has proven his knack for making money in different markets around the world. In addition to The Alpha Investor Letter, he is currently editor of Bull Market Alert and Triple Digit Trader, high-end, fast-paced trading services that focus on making short-term profits in the hottest markets in the world, and The Global Guru, a FREE electronic newsletter that helps you uncover the world’s secret bull markets. He is also Chief Investment Officer of Global Guru Capital LLC, where he manages separate accounts for high net worth individuals.

Mr. Vardy has been a regular commentator on CNN International and the Fox Business Network. He has also published articles in The New Republic, The World and I, and The Baker & McKenzie Legal Review. The Global Guru/Nicholas Vardy has been cited in The Wall Street Journal, Newsweek, Fox Business News, CBS MarketWatch, Yahoo! Finance and MSN Money Central.

Mr. Vardy graduated from Stanford with a B.A. — with honors and distinction — in both Economics and History, and he also earned an M.A in Modern European Intellectual History. After winning a Fulbright Scholarship, he earned a J.D. degree at Harvard Law School where he was an editor of the Harvard International Law Journal. In 1997, Mr. Vardy earned the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation, becoming one of the fewer than 100 attorneys in the United States to do so.

Nicholas was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce in London in 2011.

He also is an Associate of the Adam Smith Institute in London, a non-partisan think tank working to promote libertarian and free market ideas throughout the world.

In 2014, Nicholas was admitted as a member of the Royal Institute of International Affairs (Chatham House), widely regarded as the world’s most influential think tank outside of the United States.

When not uncovering investment opportunities for his subscribers and investors, Mr. Vardy is a keep-fit enthusiast and an avid student of classical music.
